Corinne von Guenthner

Corinne is the Owner & Principal Designer of CvG DESIGNS, based in Santa Barbara, CA. She has been in the field of interior design for 20 years, specializing in Kitchen and Bath design-build and custom cabinetry for over 15 of those years. In her breadth of experience she has worked for boutique design firms, Kitchen & Bath remodel firms, model home design firms, and design-build construction firms (remodel & new homes).

Corinne has a natural eye for beautiful aesthetics, but is also detailed oriented and dedicated to the efficiency of exceptional functionality. Its often difficult to find a designer who is talented at both, and it’s important that those elements are evident in the finished project. She has learned that the accumulation of all the small design decisions is what makes the finished project truly special and lasting. Every client has unique needs and wants, and she prides herself in merging the practical with the inspirational of each project. She strives to stay current and knowledgeable on industry innovations, materials and building practices. She also maintains many successful relationships with a broad trade list of local industry professionals.

Corinne moved to Santa Barbara county in 2014 and lives in Summerland with her husband, Brandon and 2 sons, Kit & Zion. She is a California native who grew up in Northern California and the last 25+ years in Southern California. She is a graduate of UC San Diego with Bachelor’s degrees in studio art and communications. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors: at the beach, hiking, horseback riding. She also loves anything that inspire the senses: music, art, food, yoga.
